FAQ's

Q. What are the prices and can I get funding?

Our prices are reviewed every year and the next review will be April 2024.

Two year old's parents that meet the criteria will be eligible for 15 hours funding a week and we can help you with the application.

From April 2024 all Working Parents of 2 year olds will be eligible for funding and we will have more information on that from the Council soon.

All 3 and 4 year olds receive 15 hours a week, known as universal funding and working parents may qualify for a further 15 hours known as extended funding. More information on what you're entitled to can be found at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

Q. What are your hours and are you open all year round?

All three nurseries are term time only, but sometimes we offer a holiday club if enough parents need this. The hours are 9am-4pm but this may vary at each nursery, so please check on the FB pages for more info or speak to the Manager.

Q. What do I need to bring or provide?

A change of clothes in case of accidents or getting wet/muddy in the gardens.

  • Coat/hat/gloves in cold weather

  • Sun hat and cream in the summer

  • Nappy wipes and nappy bags (for children in nappies)

  • Drink bottles and packed lunch for lunchtime

  • We will provide healthy snacks, milk and water throughout the day

Q. How do you help the children settle?

We start with a home visit, this helps the children start to trust us and we complete all the private paperwork with you at home. Then we will offer one free settling in session (3 hours) after that it's led by you and your child. We will allow shorter sessions for as long as it takes or until they are ready to leave you happily or more importantly you are ready to leave them.
